Stranraer Camera Club is a club for photographers who live in the area around Stranraer, Wigtownshire. We welcome photographers of all abilities and try hard to cater for all.
We have a varied programme through our season, which is from the beginning of September to the end of March. We have lectures, workshops, studio nights, ‘know your camera’ sessions, photoshop tutorials, visiting speakers and competitions.
We are a member of the Scottish Photographic Federation and compete in national as well as club competitions and inter-club competitions in Dumfries and Galloway.
We meet at Stranraer Football Club (opposite Stranraer Library) every Monday from 7.30 – 9.45 pm. Parking is free and plentiful.
So if you live in the area of Stranraer and are keen on photography, do visit us. Our membership fees are: £35 for a full season and £18 for half the season, ie from after Christmas to the end of March.
